More odd dreams

theyellowhobbitA few nights ago I dreamed that I e-mailed the Yavners, asking if I could go over for Shabbat. Then I realized they'd be in Boston and e-mailed them again, feeling like an idiot.
[Meanwhile, IRL, they were actually here this shabbat.]
I was in a shop that sold crowns [more like tiara-like thingies] and I really wanted one like Lucy gets at the end of Narnia, or at least something gold or silver, or there was this pretty one with pearls. But the shop was tiny, and the guy had no inventory. The crowns were like 60$ish. Christine Stulik had come in and taken the one I liked, and the other ones were rusty, or didn't fit, or were more like necklaces than crowns. So I placed an order for a custom one.
Then I met up with some other people, and we had to catch these animals, basically like the whole pokemon thing except the word "pokemon" was never mentioned in my dream at all. At first I couldn't figure out what I had to do to catch one, but after 3 levels, I figured it out. So my teammates had higher level animals, but they said they'd give a few to me, since I was on their team and all. There was also some woman coming after us.
So then we went down into this sewer-like area, and the woman was there so we had to turn around. Then we were on this snowy mountain, and everyone left without me.
I also had another dream that my Ruderman paper didn't get to him until Monday.

Date: 2005-12-24 09:39 pm (UTC)In odd thoughts for the day: I finally decided that I'm sick of my Ktav Tikkun and wanted a new one, so I chose an ArtScroll one. Now, the artscroll website has it fairly expensively, so I was like "hmmm, why don't I check and see if it's available anywhere else?"

Yes, Walmart.com carries artscroll. And not just normal artscroll stuff, but a tikkun, which isn't exactly the most common purchase.
