In the airport

theyellowhobbitNormally I wouldn't spend money on wireless that I'll only use for an hour, but right now I really need a distraction or I'll go crazy.
I'm in the Philadelphia airport, Terminal E, waiting for a 9:20 flight to R.I.
[interlude]
I had a dream last night that I was in my room, and someone had a pet cricket who was trapped in a paper bowl. He escaped and brought back 100 of his friends, who all attacked me.
I left the room to escape and went to my mom's room. She looked at me, and said "Why are you here? shouldn't you be at school? What about exams?"
I told her that this was a dream, and I still had 5 minutes until the alarm went off.
Then a few things happened, and then the alarm went off.

So when I woke up, I checked my phone, which had been on silent, and my mom had called at 7am. It might have happened when she glared at me in the dream. Weird...
I called my mom's cell and she didn't pick up. I called the house and no one picked up. I called Adler's hardware, and Judy said that my dad and my Grandma were at Grandma's house.
That was a pretty good giveaway that things were bad. Of course, Grandma was on the other line with Sandy, so I couldn't call there. And I didn't know my dad's cell number or have it on my phone.
Finally my mom called back.
The Hospice person was there yesterday [and I think is there now.] (S)he said that Grandpa probably only has 24 hours. So my mom told me that I needed to go home today. The 5:00 flight was too early, seeing as I had class until 4. So I'm on this flight.
I've been going from almost crying, to actually crying, to feeling numb. I'm numb right now, I think. I didn't eat dinner. [I went to Hillel and couldn't make myself take anything except cucumbers, peppers, and a glass of water.] They have a little salad-y place now in the airport which has some kosher things, like bagel chips and Toblerone chocolate. So I'm eating now a bit at least.
If you want to daven for my Grandfather, his Hebrew [really Yiddish] name is Coleman ben Esther.
