exciting opportunity for me
Feb. 23rd, 2005 10:44 amSo I checked my e-mail this morning and recieved the following message, fowarded to the PAC listserv:
Hi-
Every year SPEC holds a Crafts Fair in the days leading up to Spring Fling.
This year the fair will take place on Locust Walk on Thursday, April 14th and
Friday, April 15th. The fair is usually only open to professional vendors, but
this year we wanted to give Penn students an opportunity to join and
submit/sell their crafts. I was wondering if you could please forward the
following to your listserves. It includes all of the information about Crafts
Fair as well as the application. Thank you.
"OOH! I can do this" I thought. I asked my mom, and she wants me to sell some of her stuff, too.
The application is due march 25, which gives me a month to knit/crochet different types of things I want to sell. Hopefully they'll accept me.
I was wondering, though, beyond the scarves, hats, and bags that my mom and I make, do you think I could sell kippot, knowing this is a secular University, but also that there are many Jews here? I guess I could submit the application not including the kippot, and then if I think people will want to buy them I'll put them out.
