Shabbat is almost here

This is the first time ever in all of my keeping of Shabbas that I have not been excited for Shabbat to come. I'm guessing this is bordering on being sacreligious. I'm getting ready right now, I'm all showered and dressed and stuff. I may or may not go to kabballat shabbat, which I've never ever missed except for when I was at a house where either the women didn't go or the whole family didn't go. I want to go to Kabbalat Shabbat.

I realize my transliterations are inconsistant. Sue me.

I should probably try to make my LJ a little less emo, for the sake of you people who actually read it.

On to less emo-things:

I made deli roll last night. Deli roll is fun. And I helped Meira stay awake. And I attempted to deliver cookies to Lisi, but she wasn't there. The cookies are still in my backpack, in tupperware, as is the dough.

Now I just have to turn off the lights and the computer.

And my mom is coming Wednesday night, with a working cell phone. [Finally!] That should be good. I can give her my 2 skirts that need a-fixing.

Isaac loved my kippah book. He was looking at the different patterns and every few pages he'd be like "whoa!" It was really amusing to watch him. He picked out one on page 140, and I'll use it once I finish the kippot I'm doing for my mom.

Oh yeah, I can just give her the kippot now and not have to mail them all.

Whee!

And on Sunday Gwen and I [possibly just myself] are going to Sophie's and Pearl to get yarnerrific yarn. I can make myself a fuzzy skirt, like the thneed I wore in skirt-mode today. I was surprised at how tznius it was. I may do that more often, cause it's fun, and it's unique.
