I'm finally on spring break. My last class was Thursday afternoon, but I had a paper due Friday for my God class. It was due at 4:45 PM, but I finished it and sent it in around 6:30 (with candlelighting being at 6:38). He said that late work would be penalized. I'm hoping that 2 hours lateness won't incur too much of a penalty. Also, my paper wasn't the greatest. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm taking this class pass/fail. As long as I pass, I'm fine. I'm pretty confident that I wrote something that was at least B quality. So while it is not as good as it could have been, it was not terrible, and hopefully I will be okay.

[livejournal.com profile] sparkleycricket was here visiting from Thursday afternoon to today. She was originally going to go home tomorrow, but then personal things came up. I'm sad I didn't get to see her for longer, but I'm glad that I did get to see her.

And she did get to be in my Saturday campaign for a session, and I think I might have succeeded in getting her into D&D. Don't be surprised if you get a dice bag (with dice) in the mail knit from handspun yarn from the hair of Prawn Salad. :-p (I don't think I would actually make Prawn Salad yarn. She doesn't particularly like being brushed.)

So my break will include working, applying to jobs (mostly writing cover letters, which take forever), going clothes shopping with Grandma (who wants to buy me clothes. Normally I buy my own clothes, and don't buy them so often. However, if I'm applying to jobs I need nice, professional clothing, and I don't really have the money for that. And it's been forever since I've bought new clothes. Also, my pants are getting too big, and I want pants that fit.), and hopefully some spinning and knitting as well. And I might get together with dsKC assuming he's not dead. And I'll probably see [livejournal.com profile] desh next weekend since he's visiting.

This break will not be very relaxing, especially since the job thing is rather scary. This is the first time I've tried to find full-time employment. And I also have to do the project proposal for my Japan class, which was actually due on the 5th. I've just been so behind in everything, and have a ridiculous amount of catching up to do. But if I apply to a bunch of jobs, maybe I'll start to feel better about the future.
