I know, I know
Sep. 23rd, 2004 09:00 amI haven't had lots of free time to update, because my life has been uberbusy. Let me count the ways:
1.Classes- there are 5 of them, plus those shiurim.
2.Eating-If I go to Hillel for dinner I end up staying a long time. For this reason I try to eat lunch somewhere else, usually the library.
3.Weird life crises that always happen on Mondays-why Mondays? To tell you the truth, I have no idea. These things actually have been going on for a while, but I always get informed of them on Mondays. I don't like being depressed, so I force myself to go out and do stuff. This usually works, but at the same time it prevents me from doing homework. Tuesday mornings I have a chevruta with Orit, so I can't do homework after minyan then. Of course, I do have that nice hour between Jewish Folklore and Hebrew. Though there I'm back to #2.
4.3-day Yom Tovim-The bane of my existance. For 3 days I could do no work! I could read, though, and I managed to get a month ahead in my SciFi class. Of course, after the weekend was done I had to read everyone's papers, and because of #3, I had to do all of that on Tuesday night/Wedneday before class. Then we didn't even get to them all. Apparently my world isn't so bad, though I messed up in calculating its size. When I write this story, you can look at it if you want.
(Aside: Staying with the Shanesons was good, although dinner on Friday night when the Jonases came over was a bit awkward. They had a thing where they wanted to embarrass all of their kids. Luckily, I had no parents at the table and therefore I did not get embarrassed.)
5.Social life-despite what you may think, I do have a social life. It involves giving people deli-roll and pulling all nighters among other things. I love living in North. It's the best.
And now for a hobbity breakfast!
