Break and purim

Break:

I'm thinking of coming to Penn for break, though at some point I'd like to visit DC/college park as well. Maybe I can do both somehow. Are people around? My break is the 21st to the 30th.

Purim:

I need a Purim costume. Apparently it is not appropriate to dress up in red clothing and go and spin red wool and act all harloty and when someone asks me what I'm dressed up as, answer "Your mom!" So that goes into the rejected bin.

I suppose I could wear the Chinese Dress of Awesome, but it's been done. And my Willow costume isn't willowy enough to work. I suppose I could raid the HRSFA office and steal the wings, but then I'd just be a winged hobbit...

Also, I need to learn megillah. I'm doing the first half of ch. 2 at SCM at night and then chs. 2 and 3 at TBS in the morning. I did ch. 2 in 2006. I've never learned 3. So now I have a shabbat afternoon activity.

Also, Saturday night is Milk and Cookies. Saturday night is also JSM's birthday party. Though I think I can do both, since the 1 bus runs fairly often and JSM lives near central square. I'll make an appearance and then run off for lands more cookie-filled.

Come visit the general DC area! I am in Annapolis, but that is very easy to access from DC, a metro and bus ride away....and I even have part of that time off for essay writing...

What about a moogle costume? I dressed up as one once and it was easy and fun. Just white pyjamas and pink wings, so it's comfy too.
