I just bought a ridiculous amount of food for Vericon. Most of it is kosher (maybe I'll label the few things that aren't). I found some shiny things I didn't buy, because I realized that most people are eating food outside of what is in the Con Suite, and I don't need to provide full meals for everyone. As for myself, if I want cheese and crackers or whatnot I can bring them myself. I won't die of starvation. Though it's kind of sad that there's no Shabbat dinner for me, and even though I'll be observing Shabbat, there will be no Jewish content.
Unless...
Small Friday night dinner at Vericon? If I can make it portable and small and simple, it could work.
Actually, maybe I could convince
navelofwine and
elfsdh to let me use their oven to make deli-roll, though that would also require having time to go out and buy deli meat. If I did so, I could make an extra deli-roll for you guys. (I haven't had meat in a week and a half! This is crazy!)
Otherwise it would be a dairy meal :( But maybe I can still bring shiny things. We'll see how alive I am after the Machinist exam.

Also food related is how I didn't eat at all this afternoon since I was studying and then I was Verithoning. But the fact that we pulled off the shopping trip makes up for lack of food (perhaps). It took forever to unload things and bring them to DW's room. (DW is an amazing person for letting us store everything in his room.)
And my shoulder hurts and I don't even know when I can schedule a massage appointment. I need one.
At least my burn no longer hurts.

Time to sleep before my Jewish History exam, which I feel totally unprepared for. Wish me luck!
