It's over!
Nov. 7th, 2007 11:12 pmMidterms are over, finally. I finished up my paper for Shaye Cohen's class tonight. AK is going to look at it for me, but even if she didn't, I think what I have is good enough to hand in. Though I need a last sentence.
The midterm for that class went not as well as I had hoped, but that was due to my lack of time for studying.
However, I got my German midterm back today and I got an A on it! At least I aced one of my midterms if the rest sucked.
We learned about separable prefixes today. They are quite scary.
And my paper for Machinist has not yet been read. I'm so afraid he's going to read it and think I'm an idiot or a bad student or something. Really I ran out of time, and the paper never clicked.
And I have no clue when I'm getting my midterm for Nasrallah's class back. Hopefully soon.
Tomorrow's schedule:
Wake up at 6:45 AM
Get dressed and stuff, look over paper edits
Catch the 7:41, 7:47, or 7:55 bus to Harvard

And I have Monday off!!!
Anyone want to do anything fun with me on Sunday or Monday?

Date: 2007-11-08 03:08 pm (UTC)Yay!
The midterm for that class went not as well as I had hoped, but that was due to my lack of time for studying.
It happens to the best of us.
However, I got my German midterm back today and I got an A on it! At least I aced one of my midterms if the rest sucked.
Double yay!

Separable prefixes are a bit scary (I sometimes wonder how Germans manage to process them so easily), but they're kind of fun once you get the hang of them.

You will probably not be thrilled with his grade and comments; few people are. He is a very nice man, but very exacting. Just bear in mind that he hardly gives out any grades higher than B+ and that criticism from him doesn't mean he thinks you're stupid. He's just trying to help.

Date: 2007-11-08 10:27 pm (UTC)And I'm expecting lots of criticism. Like "You don't connect any of your ideas together, and most of the time you're quoting sources and not explaining yourself, and you don't mention dates at all." Something like that.
