The rest of the summer
Jul. 8th, 2007 01:42 pmNow that I'm home, I'm going to start working. For those of you who don't know, I'll be teaching knitting, crocheting, and crafts at a local summer camp.
It turns out that my hours are going to be cut down, and I'm working 4 hours a day, 3 days a week- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. So now I have 4 day weekends, and can travel pretty much anywhere for Shabbat. So perhaps I'll be making an appearance in DC, or NY, or somewhere else. This weekend I'm in Philly, though I still have to figure out Shabbat. I've been living pretty much week to week in terms of planning.
Life is pretty uneventful now that I'm back home. I have a bunch of errands that I have to run, so I've been busy... Once I'm done with everything, I'll be playing video games in the evenings, or watching Law & Order while knitting...
And there are some people who are in RI who I can hang out with, though I haven't had a chance to do that yet. People are busy. Why are you busy? Why can't you work 12 hour weeks and spend the rest of the time hanging out with me?
And I have a project, of a top-secret nature, that I'm starting, and I have to figure out how I can get access to an academic library over the summer. All I can say is that I'm working with Ben, and it will be awesome, and if it turns into something official I'll let y'all know. So now I get to read, assuming I can finagle my way into whatever libraries are necessary. Maybe I can convince Harvard to let me start using their libraries now, even though the semester isn't starting for 2 months.
