Pre-Passover preparations
Apr. 1st, 2007 12:18 pmI started Saturday night with cleaning for passover. I've gotten rid of most of my chametz (about 5 heavy garbage bags worth of things I could not sell or donate), which included the open bottle of Sforno. There wasn't much left, so I just drank it, and I didn't feel anything, so it was fine.
I still have to put away all of my loose papers, so I have room to vacuum. That will also mean unplugging things. And I need to clear off my table so I can use it for passover. I don't really have a pesach tablecloth, so at this point I don't feel like going to Fresh Grocer again, so I might convert a sheet if necessary.
And there's nothing to eat, since I can't open my passover food until everything has been cleaned. The fridge needs major cleaning. The bathroom needs major cleaning. My room needs tidying up and vacuuming. Laundry needs doing. And then there's my living room, which is insane. Hence me scheduling 4 hours today for this task.
If I had more storage space it would be easier. But after getting rid of the chametz, I might have just that!
And I put all of my yarn that was out and not involved in any project into my suitcase. Poor yarn, all alone in a dark, unknown space. I'll come back to you someday!
