Remedial Archaeology
Nov. 29th, 2006 09:22 pmGM and I decided that if we don't graduate this year (she had some thesis issues and I still haven't gotten my dig credits yet) then we should take Remedial Archaeology. (ANTH 000)
It would be a course taught by Dr. Schuyler that teaches the basics of digging. Students would be given plastic trowels and construction hats, and would be sent to a sandbox, in which "artifacts" would be buried. We'd be resposible for digging them up and placing them in baskets and recording them. There would be plenty of fruit breaks and water breaks. If a student was rowdy, he would be sent out to do wheelbarrow duty.
Students would have to turn in top plans drawn in crayon.
