Weird math

When I calculated my pay for October mashing, I had just come out of the GREs. So my brain was mathed out for the day. I ended up somehow calculating that 17.5 hours at $8/hr + 1 hour at $10/hr +$33 (head mash bonus)= $139. No clue why I thought that. Really it's $183. But Barry didn't double-check my math, so I thought I was going to come up really short (though I'd just get compensated next month.)

Turns out he also miscalculated and added the head mash bonus again. So it came out to $172, which is only $11 short, which is not such a big deal.

And 8 meals. With everything combined I should be fine for the semester and not have to rely on dining dollars. (My meal plan technically has only 12 meals left on it...) Which means I get to buy myself a lot of coffee. Too bad they don't let you buy Starbuck's gift certificates with dining dollars...
