Starvation in the Holy land

I'm so hungry. I wanted to save money so I bought pasta before shabbat so I could make meals. Now I'm gonna save money and lose weight, since I can't figure out how to turn on the burners. This sucks.

Kitten219: have any clue how to use an israeli stove? i can't get mine to turn on and make me pasta:(

Kitten219: Friday night I got lost and went to a random meal and today i went to my friend livia's. she and her brother  live like 40 minutes [walk] away.we all went to the weiss' for lunch. they speak hebrew.... Livia and JJ walked me back after lunch and we hung out for a bit and played set. I beat them, though halfway through I restricted myself as to what kind of sets I could call, so they'd have a chance
