That book meme that everyone else did

2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 3 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest.
The book is Pyramids by Terry Pratchett.
"Even dad had only been allowed to have a mastaba, although it was one of the best on the river, he had to admit, that red-veined marble had been ordered all the way from Howonderland, a lot of people had asked for the same, it had been good for business, that's how dad would have liked it...The biggest pyramid ever...And they'd never remember who was under it."
Wow, that was a section that wasn't funny. And this entire book is funny, but these 3 sentences alone aren't. Weird.
But discworld rocks.
