The Raskin's daughter is getting married May 23 at Camp Jori.  Dad and I got an invitation to the wedding.  This is the first Ultra Orthodox wedding we've been to

JLAdler: No.  But they won't even shake hands with the opposite sex

Kitten219: because they go to a secular university
Kitten219: and interact w/non-jews
JLAdler: Is that what the difference is?
Kitten219: there's more than that. there are a lot of things
Kitten219: but basically modern orthodoxy follows halacha while still being a part of normal society
