The amount of ruach they have is just amazing. They are a tiny group of people, but they have so much more ruach than Penn.
Of course, the Shabbat food left something to be desired. However, after a conversation with Mike M. we decided that I would introduce the meat eaters of Brown Hillel to the wonderful creation known as deli-roll. Deli Roll!!!! They've never had it! They don't really have individual kitchen facilities, nor do they have an unhealthy obsession with meat. So it makes sense. But that does not make it less tragic. So on Monday I shall make deli-roll and bring it over. If you're in R.I. and eat meat, you're welcome. [Actually,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
nerdx111 and son_of_paladin- you guys haven't had deli-roll yet, right? I'll fix that ASAP. And sirena_lupin- I can make it without mustard, so no allergicness.
They used my long-lost lecha-dodi tune at the end of services, and I was like "long lost lecha dodi!!!" I'm obsessed. I need a new long-lost song. Or I need to write a tune for something and use it everywhere I lead, until the whole Jewish world knows it.
I realized, though, that I should have led Mussaf instead of Psukei, because then I could have done Adon Olam to "Every Time We Touch." Because I still have yet to use it in a service.
Andbenjifus is the coolest person ever. We all got into a discussion of B.Z.'s hilchot pluralism. I forget how we got on the subject. But somehow we did. And we decided that Penn isn't even type I pluralistic. They're like type -20.
And next Shabbat I might be in Lower Merion. Yay!
