platypuses for helping me remember this one:
This one I had after my Anth 001 exam occurred, but before I got it back:
I was taking the Anth 001 exam, and there were a lot of weird questions on it. I answered as best I could. Then they were going over the answers, and I had probably lost tons of points because I didn't mention all these tiny details, random things that have absolutely nothing to do with archaeology, like stuff about TV actors.
So I went to Michael, who isn't my TA, but he is one of the TAs for the class, and asked him how I had done, and begged him to have mercy when he graded my exam.
And Marxist archaeology was the only thing I recognized!!!
