I just saw Kill Bill 2 with Ari, Ariela, Joey, and Elan, despite the fact that I had not seen Kill Bill 1. It was really good. And I deserved to go, after actually doing work all day.

I interviewed 3 people for my paper: Andrea, Julie, and Ariela. All were interesting and all will help immensely in my paper. Only Ariela reads my LJ of the 3 subjects, so here's a shout-out: Thank you!!!

I didn't do much else, besides daven shacharit in my room and discover sometime tonight that my hat may be messed up since I think some stitches fell off. If this is true, then I am so screwed.

I never was one for chronology.

But yeah, most of my day was work. The book I was looking through had some really amusing stuff. For example:

"Find yourself a competent halachic authority, and bother the life
out of him with practical questions in every area of Jewish observance. If you can't ask him yourself, get your husband to do so; even better, get yourself a husband who is himself a competent authority"

And:

"Picture Him watching over you, loving, protecting, and meanwhile
keeping tabs on what you're doing. Naturally you tense up ("what's He thinking about the trashy novel on the coffee table?") , but at the same time you experience a unique sense of serenity...try to keep in mind that He's still watching you (you might also want to throw out that novel)."

The sad thing is that there are women who take this kind of opinion seriously.

And sadly the e-mail where I sent myself the quotes I may use didn't work.

At least I'm going to Hillel tomorrow anyways to do work. I can kick whoever is on that computer off. Or just get there first, which is likely.
