Tonight was the fall barbeque for the 20s and 30s group at the Tremont Street Shul.

There was a limit of 90 people, and I actually managed to RSVP right before the cut-off. Like I was literally the last person to make it in.

So it was quite packed. There were a lot of people there (like 90!) and I didn't know the vast majority of them, with a few exceptions.

There was also meat. Yay, meat!

I had a pretty good time and made a lot of new friends. Of course, not everyone at the event davens at the shul, so I don't know who I will actually see again in the near future. I guess I'll find out on Shabbat.

Also noteworthy is that I'm leading kaballat Shabbat tomorrow night. How's that for awesome?

But really, I need to practice YK mincha more. So tomorrow I may refrain from going to Harvard's beautiful campus and stay home and practice until I know the entire thing. I only have 2 weeks!

Normally when I eat a meal I will eat and be full, and that's the end of it. Sometimes I will squeeze in a dessert. Or snack beforehand. But generally it's eat and be full.

This week I've been eating a lot of healthy foods. This has mostly to do with the fact that I've moved into a house where we have a ton of produce, and generally healthy cooking going on in our co-op of foodness. And we avoid cooking with gluten. So I'm no longer just living off of pasta and cheese.

But still. These foods do have calories to some extent. And I even had meat last night! 2 burgers! And yet when I came home from the barbeque I was still hungry.

It might also have to do with the sudden increase in the exercise I'm getting, seeing as it takes 15-20 minutes to bike to campus. More if I take a detour.

But today there's been no exercise yet. And you'd think a bowl of quinoa with cheese would fill me up. And 2 apples. And some of the sushi I made with MZ a few days ago. I'm getting to the point where I might actually resort to eating chocolate to fill me up. Usually I just eat chocolate for the sake of eating it. But every so often I will pretend that it's a meal.

I guess this is a good thing overall. I'm eating much more healthily. And the snacking I'm doing is also healthy. And the biking is healthy as well.

But I really would like to be full without having to eat all the time. How many apples can a girl eat in a day?
