Roller Coaster part 2
Feb. 1st, 2004 11:54 pmI had been up and down all day.
The prop store was locked so Joanie got angry with me because there were no props. And rightfully so. Normally I'd be fine, but I was in no state to deal with it. My vocal tic started getting worse and I realized being there was counter-productive. So I went back to my room.
I never napped, and I never got anything accomplished, unless you count knitting.
I went back for the production meeting and to go over the remaining props with Joanie.
Afterwards, Josh and I hung out for a bit. I also helped replace the guitar string of Josh who lives in 412. Though now Josh Lannik will be replacing Josh...hmm... I guess I could call this Josh that I helped "guitar Josh" or "curly haired Josh." Guitar Josh it is.
Anyways, he seemed to think it was a big deal that I replaced his string, and it really wasn't. It took me like 5 seconds...ok maybe a minute.
Then Lannik and I talked more [I really don't want to refer to him as "Lannik" and want to just use "Josh," but there are too many freaking Joshes in Hillel!!!! If you ever have kids, please don't name them Josh, Rachel, Sarah, Rebecca, or Ari [/other Ari-rooted names]. Pick out something more creative. So people won't be all confused about who is who.
Anyways, Josh and I were talking after Josh left. [hehe] and I was feeling kinda better but kinda not.
Then I studied with Rivka, and that went rather well. We finished the first perek today.
Then I went over and had dinner with Maurene and Alex. Alex is such a good chef! And Maurene is really good at making desserts!
I taught Maurene how to knit. I had to help her quite a bit, but I think she's getting the hang of it.
I was talking through rooming options with Maurene and Alex and decided to give up. I also talked a bit about Sean. Then I realized I was too tired to stay over any longer, so I went home.
Then I got an e-mail from Ariela, offering 309 [Andrea's room] to Gwen and I, though earlier she had said no to the whole quad thing.
So now we have roomingness!
I am feeling much better. G-d sometimes gives us miracles when we least expect it.
