My mom doesn't read LJ, so....

My mom's brithday is exactly a month after mine, March 19. Or rather the anniversary of her birth is then. It would be weird to have a mother who is 1 month younger than you...

So I bought her a birthday present over break. Only problem is that mom is in RI, I'm here, and the gift is in my room, unwrapped and with the receipt probably still in the bag.

What do I do?????????

Call your Dad and tell him to surreptiously get rid of the receipt when she opens the gift.

My mom's birthday is exactly a week after mine! July 6 and July 13. I win. :)

I think kressel's suggestion is good. Call your dad and ask him to rescue the gift. :)

I'd have to agree with the others, this sounds like a job for your dad. maybe he can even hide the gift until her birthday.
