Weddings

One of the families I'm friends with, the Diamonds, has a daughter named Elisheva who is my age. She just got engaged a week and a half ago. And it turns out I'm invited to the wedding! I wasn't expecting either the engagement [I didn't even know she was dating anyone recently] or the wedding invite.

The wedding is in May. It is currently March.

I, in my infinite stupidity, have decided to make them a blanket. Which would be fine except I still have the TGS kippah [with the tiny thread] to do, plus another {bigger thread} kippah and one for yadfothgildloc if he ever tells me what he wants...

Oh man. So much knittingness!

oh my goodness, i think i know the diamonds...we got caught in rhode island one erev shabbos (long story) but they put us up and were just really really sweet and hospitable (if i'm thinking of the same people)...anyways, very exciting and a big mazal tov to her!!...also, i'll hopefully be in touch with you soon with coming up to penn and such...hope your enjoying break =)

Don't worry about my kippah until all your other obligations are done. Perhaps in Israel...

I figured I'd do yours in Israel anyways. If I'm using the normal thread and not the tiny Israeli stuff I could easily finish the whole thing while we're at Tel Dor. And then you get to watch me make it. Of course, this is all assuming I still have use of my hands after all of the digging we do! If you want tiny thread, it's more time-consuming. I'm like on row 10 or something of the TGS kippah of doom.

Though if you could decide on colors before we leave for Israel that would make life easier since I would only have to bring those colors with me.
