theyellowhobbitSarah was here for shabbat. We had a small rebel meal that was milcheig, and we had enough food for 5 girls even though there was just soup, tortelini, challah, hummus and cheese [![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
groovin_reuven, we used your hummus since we had no other non-moldy hummus, so either I can get you a new one, or since you bought it on my credit card we could just call it even]. We had fruit and ice cream for dessert, and actually used up some of the containsers lying around my freezer from grad events.
I gave a d'var. I could post it. I made the print too small and it was dark, so I had trouble reading what I had written. I should have just looked at it for ideas instead of reading exactly what i had written [beyond quotations.] some times I did ad-lib, but most of it was off the page. But at least it was prepared ahead of time, organized, and understandable to every one.
I help Sarah with her haftorah, and realized how much I had forgotten. Munach zarcha munach segol, and zakef gadol. If anyone knows them for haftorah and wants to call me up and sing them for me, I would be most grateful. Even though I'm not reading haftorah anytime soon.
We played karaoke revolution after shabbat with M, until Sarah had to leave for home. We walked her to the train station, and then I went northing.
The Panini Bar was way too crowded for me, so I joined people in 408 to watch shrek 2. Afterwards we talked about purim costumes, and decidedarigi should go as Puss in Boots. Though he needed a sword, and I lives in california, so she couldn't bring her fencing gear back.
A on the other hand lives in NJ, so he could bring his easily...He came downstairs with not 1 but 2 foils!!! He had them here all along. I'll post pictures soon. Um… as soon as I can find my camera cord.
And then we played drinking Goldeneye [not to be confused with strip Goldeneye, which fortunately did not happen.] If you got 1st place in 4 player multi-player, you stayed in, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th left, and 4th also took a shot, though you didn’t actually need to if you didn’t want to. I got 4th 3 times total [2 Goldeneye and 1 Mariokart] and only had 1 shot, and that was later on. In retrospect it was a very stupid idea because 1. the vodka tasted horrible and 2. I was drinking on an empty stomach. So it made me very tired. I felt sick on Sunday morning.
Yesterday I did some work, and wrote down some costume ideas for the Teatron show. I have to go shopping on Wednesday morning. This is so scary, the show is next week! I think I might be running around a lot during load-in.
Today I finally did the annoying primate assignment, and missed lunch. IB rescued me with a smoothie at 3:30. I kept on looking at the door whenever someone entered the classroom, and I think she was the last to arrive.
Then I freaked out later on when I was at Hillel because I couldn’t find the envelope I needed to send out my tax sheet to my mom, and I still can’t find the cord for loading pictures from my camera [and I have a bunch more from SNL] and I went to the wrong library this morning, and I’m PMSing, and I’m generally absent-minded. I used to be able to rely on my brain for everything. Now I can barely get out of the house without forgetting anything. But then Livia made me feel better. In terms of remembering to do things, a PDA might be a good investment [and my mom asked Jon and I if we wanted one. Originally we said no, but now I’m reconsidering.] Ben said in class today that he uses one for is excavations, so maybe I’ll ask him if there are any special specifications I need to look for.
