And it came to pass, when Jacob saw Rachel the daughter of Laban his mother's brother, and the sheep of Laban his mother's brother, that Jacob went near, and built a pulley system to lift the stone, like that which had been passed down to him from Isaac, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother. And Jacob attempted to kiss Rachel, but because she was a good shomer girl, she slapped him, and he wept.

...Now Laban had 2 daughters: Leah, the eldest, was a Brovenders girl and Rachel was of hobbity form and cute to look upon. Leah was mean, and stole the love of every guy that ever even looked at Rachel.

In the morning Jacob figured out that it was Leah he had married, which was fine by him because she could outdo him in Gemara any day. Jacob also married Rachel, who although not pleased with the situation, accepted it, since Leah always was pregnant, and Rachel usually wasn't a niddah anyways.
