I'm in RI right now. I'm wide awake despite minimal foodage today, and less than adequate sleepage this week.

Baruch Hashem, Grandpa is still hanging in there. When I left he had been agitated and Dad gave him more morphine, even though Grandma objected. I davened ma'ariv in the den with the door closed [while I was doing so, I could hear Grandma ask Mom if I was ok, and she said "yes, she's praying something" even though I tried to hide my prayerbook so people wouldn't see what I was doing.] Then I pointed out in Grandma's giant prayerbook where she could find a few prayers.

Apparently the mizmor l'david we sing at se'udah slisheet [Hashem roi lo echsar...] is something said for cholim. And I have it memorized, as well as esai einai, so even if I only said those 2 psalms, I could say them. It's hard to say prayers quietly without being interrupted b someone in the family, since I don't say them out loud. I do this all to be less noticable. Usually it doesn't work so well.

I'm awake at 12:34, I barely ate dinner since I wasn't hungry then and didn't want meat. Now I'm kind-of hungry and will be eating ravioli. If you're still up and want to call me on my cell it's 401-474-1665. I'd appreciate hearing a human voice, since mom is asleep.
