Pass'd over
Apr. 8th, 2004 01:26 amYay for pesach!
I stayed at Josh Shainesson's house for the first 2 days of Yom Tov, and I fell in love with his family.
The first seder was at their house. The Jonas' were also there, and we had 6 afikomen. Rachel's sister Jen is going to be at Penn next year, which makes me happy. Maybe I can invite her to Shabbat dinners and stuff.
Then Tuesday I slept in while the boys went davening. I sat around all afternoon and read and stuff. We went to mincha and maariv, and then there was a seder at Rabbi Rosen's house. It wasn;t as lively as the first, but what impressed me was that Rabbi Rosen was a Ba'al T'shuva. Yay for "BT"s as he calls them.
This morning I actually woke up for minyan. Reuven and Shlomo were there, and we talked afterwards and they walked me back most of the way [Reuven lives like 10 seconds away from Josh]. In the afternoon Josh, Arielle, and I went to the park, and we met Arielle's friend Rachel [wow so many!] who is also going to Pardes. We may live together. She's nice. She also has a nose ring. So hah! Orthos can and do pierce their noses!
I also had a few discussions with the Shainessons sometime during these 2 days.
I think I'm going to ask them to adopt me.
Just kidding.
