Today while I was on the treadmill, I accidentally stepped on the side of the belt, where it was slippery. I started to fall, but fortunately I grabbed the railing and pulled myself up. It was really scary. My roommate once broke her collarbone from falling off of a treadmill. Now I know why she says tehy're dangerous.

Next time, I won't have it go so fast.

I always put the walking speed at something comfortable, that's like not even a jog and move the resistance/elevation/whatever your treadmill calls it up gradually.

When I could do treadmill, on good days I could burn 350 to almost 500 calories this way on level 13.
