So in Halacha we're learning the halachot for kiddush. Today we were talking about the cup, and who has to drink the wine, etc. The gemara in Pesachim says that the cup needs a measure [Rashba says a 1/4 לוג, which is about 3 to 4 ounces]. Another gemara in the same masechet says that someone needs to drink a "מלא לוגמא" which I translated as a full log. I mean the -מא ending could just be aramaic, and then לוג would still mean the same thing, right? It started to not make sense, since the Rosh said that you can't split the "מלא לוגמא" between 2 people, and this would be 12-16 ounces of wine... So we decided that in order to be machmir someone who is at the meal should drink an entire bottle of wine, and from now on I would drink that much at kiddush [I hope they have asti!]

Then we got to shiur and learned that "מלא לוגמא" means a mouthful of wine. Which explained everything.
