theyellowhobbitI'm leaving for NY tomorrow at 9. You should all visit me if you're in the area. I'll be living on 56 Bennet Ave. It's in Washington Heights, near 181st street.
I'm so glad to be out of Barrington. And I'm so glad I'm not going to work tomorrow. Today was insane because the sheets that have the total amount of money in the register drawers didn't print, and since yesterday was the end of the month the printer was tied up printing reports for a good 4 hours, so when we got the sheets printed at 11, they included all the sales up until that time. So imagine trying to sort that mess out. If that weren't bad enough, a bunch of the credit card slips were missing [as usual] so we were off by a lot of money. I left at 1, when Sandy and I finally got a deposit together.
I went to pick up mom, only to find out that she was in a meeting. She came down and told me to leave. It was a good thing I did, because she ended up leaving at 3. I got a bit lost on the way back, and then there was a major traffic jam. I got in at around 2:45, starving since I hadn't had lunch.
And then I watched several hours of Stargate.
I'm so glad that soon I will have a social life again. Baruch Hashem.
